Sad News... Mike departs 22nd Nov 2003

Weeks of uncertainty ended today was our worst fears coming true, as Treasurer Mike stepped down and headed home for a year out.
Mike will be greatly missed, as a great competitor with his beloved France, but more as a great friend.
We all hope to see you return to the committee next year Mike!

The first ISSsoc tournament will be on Saturday 11th October in A23 (opposite the Ark).

the website has moved to its new and permeanent residence, www.isssoc.co.uk. Unfortunatley this means everyone will have to register for the message board again, but this will not happen again ever (hopefully).
Committee members can now get on with designing publicity etc incorporating the new url.

ISSsoc becomes an offical society!5th June 2003

Well it's official, today the society was voted in to affiliation with the Students Union by a convincing margin.
We can look forward to the support of the Union next year, a stall at Fresher's Fayre, and the chance to go round saying we're great.
